It is best to check HQ first to confirm any active state or carrier writing numbers. Navigator syncs license information directly from HQ. (Error Example: You may be appointed with the carrier already, but the writing number/code isn't present in HQ yet) This is the same case for state writing numbers.
Any new state must be approved and added in SureLC, which then syncs to HQ and Navigator. Your direct upline or agency can assist with this process. Once a new license is approved, confirm it has been added in SureLC. After everything is in SureLC, it will sync overnight to HQ and Navigator.
If your state license still does not appear in HQ after the overnight sync, please ask to “speak with a human”, so it can be manually imported by the team.
Carrier writing numbers can be added by you if they do not sync automatically, once the carrier license is updated in SureLC to sync with HQ. Be sure to reach out to your direct upline or agency to verify what carriers you are contracted with through them.
To check if you have a writing number for a carrier in HQ, follow these steps:
1. Go to your Profile- Top Right Corner in HQ.
2. Click on the Licensing tab.
3. Your active writing numbers will sync over and display on this page.
4. If your writing number is not there, reach out to your agency/upline for licensing help. If you already have the writing number, you can add it in HQ.
5. Under the Agent Writing Numbers section, you'll see an option to Add New Writing Number.
6. Click on this option to input your new writing number.
