Do I have to be appointed in the state prior to submitting business with Banner Life?

No, you must be licensed in the state where the policy owner lives. Resident states are pre-appointed once we have the contracting paperwork but all other states are processed “JIT (just-in time)” once the case is submitted.

Other carriers may require you to be pre-appointed in a state before you are able to submit business, so Banner Life makes the process as hands off as possible for you. Additionally, the process normally takes 3-6 days.
