To abandon an application in Navigator BEFORE it is submitted to the carrier for approval:
Go to "Cases", select the case, and click "Abandon App".
To abandon an application in Navigator after it is has already been submitted to the carrier and is still in the "Offer" status:
Access the case in Navigator and reject the offer to mark it as "Offer Not Taken".
To abandon an application in Navigator after it has passed the 'Carrier Offer' Status:
The case will auto-abandon after 30 days if not rejected earlier. No action needed.
If the carrier offer has already been 'Accepted', you must use the Carrier Agent Portal or contact the carrier to cancel. You can ask to 'Talk to a human' if you need more information. Be sure to have the carrier name, client's name, and application number available.
