Templates Guide
Templates:
How users create, personalize with variables, and send Message Templates for Text and Email, and the compliance rule that governs first contact
Purpose:
Message Templates are pre-written messages designed to streamline communication, particularly for messages that are sent frequently or to groups of contacts. Templates save time and can incorporate Message Variables to personalize content for each recipient. This guide covers creating a template, adding variables, and sending a template by Text or Email.
Template Types:
| Type | Description |
| Pre-Built Templates | Default message templates included in the platform and available to all users. |
| Custom Templates | Templates created by the user that are private to their individual agent account. |
COMPLIANCE NOTICE
- The initial outbound message cannot be customized.
- Sending bulk templates as a first-contact attempt is strictly prohibited, to protect sender reputation and ensure message deliverability.
